Easy bolt on
Simple mount-on solutions for broadcast heads, such as Vinten V70. Our software compensates for the pantographic shift, inherent in the design of the Vinten 70 series. Our high-resolution absolute encoders can be retrofitted to almost any head.
High resolution encoder
The head tracking kit is based on absolute encoding technology and never loses the position of the virtual camera even when you switch the system off and on again.
Outdoor tracking
Long term customer, CGLA Studios frequently use our tracking kits; E!’s Live at the Red Carpet coverage of the Academy Awards featured impressive augmented reality graphics using our kits. Our encoding kits were chosen as they are a reliable, travel-friendly option that guarantees accurate tracking data, especially when shooting in an outdoor environment.

Bus Cable
The Mo-Sys bus cable with Lemo interface combines power and data in one cable for a tidy solution on set. Simply put the devices in a daisy chain, power up on one end and terminate the other.

“For this year’s E!'s coverage of the Oscars I wanted to do something different and sold [E!] them on the idea of enhancing their broadcast with AR graphics during the Countdown show as well as the Post show. As this was E!'s first foray into AR graphics we needed a solid and reliable tracking system. We used 2 systems; the Mo-Sys Vinten V70 Kit and also the Mo-Sys crane encoding kit for tracking. They are both robust and travel friendly options that guarantee accurate tracking data. Next year we will hopefully be using a full Unreal set-up with AR and you can be sure we'll have a full complement of Mo-Sys encoders”.
