Mo-Sys StarTracker Mini Awarded Product of the Year 2025

Mo-Sys, the foremost innovator in camera tracking technology and Virtual Production, has once again showcased the superiority of its industry-leading tracking technology, winning Product of the Year at NAB Show 2025 with the launch of StarTracker Mini. This award stands as a testament to the exceptional accuracy and reliability of Mo-Sys’ absolute tracking solutions.

Judges were impressed by the all-in-one system, as the ultra-compact StarTracker Mini requires no external processing unit. The latest addition to Mo-Sys’ StarTracker line has been developed to deliver the precision and dependability of the renowned StarTracker Classic to content creators, in-house studios, and educators who operate in more confined spaces that lack the ceiling height of full-scale studio facilities served by StarTracker Max.

Unlike the relative tracking of SLAM-based solutions, the StarTracker Mini knows its place, requiring no re-calibration between setups, ensuring uninterrupted and reliable operation with zero drift accumulation, all of which is essential for XR set extensions. Mo-Sys’ absolute tracking is also immune to light interference that often disrupts even multi-SLAM tracking systems when their camera units are hit by direct light sources or encounter changes in ambient lighting conditions.
