Absolute Encoding

Mo-Sys absolute encoding technology allows axis sensors to know exactly where they are upon power up, without the need for finding a home or ‘0’ position.

Using absolute encoding, there is no need to calibrate or move an axis at start-up. Simply power up and start using the system. We appreciate that time is precious for operators so we keep the set-up time to an absolute minimum for you.

We use absolute encoders in several of our products for pan and tilt heads, rail systems, XY floor tracking and have also distilled it down to fit into our smallest sensor head, the e-Focus.
