Exhibitions Cine Gear 2011
Cine Gear 2011 offered the usual buzz and excitement as previous years. Artists and technicians from all over the world gathered at Paramount Studios in Hollywood to gain knowledge and skills, discover the latest equipment and network with fellow professionals.
We exhibited our growing modular Lambda system, now with back-pan, and Chameleon - the previz system used on Tarsems Singh's Immortals. We met a lot of people and had a great time.
Thanks to all who dropped by the stand.
Exhibitions NAB 2011
This years NAB show saw an increase of attendees totally over 88000 people. There were a number of new and exciting announcements, among them the launch of the 3D Company - Cameron-Pace Group - which aims to accelerate the growth of 3D across all entertainment platforms.
Mo-Sys exhibited the Lambda Gyro remote head, Chameleon and Crane encoding kit, all of which drew much attention. Even the Motion Logger which now runs on a sleek Windows based PC tablet was received well.
Thank you to all those who visited our stand, we hope to see you again soon.
Exhibitions BV Expo 2011
Being our first year exhibiting in The Production Show at BVE, we were particularly excited to experience the action. We love to show the attendees and our fellow exhibitors what we’re up to – and we’re equally curious about what they’re doing.
BVE 2011 was a bustling 3-day affair that pulled in almost 16,000 spectators and offered firsthand exposure to the latest broadcast, video, and audio technologies. At The Production Show, the focus was on cutting-edge technologies used for production and post-production. Appropriately, we showcased our innovative virtual production tool, Chameleon, alongside our friends Live Vision Studios, who have Chameleon available for use at their Deptford studio.
Chameleon was unveiled in a re-vamped form – a sleek, compact, all-in-one station. At our stand, we demonstrated how it provides a real-time composite of previsualization synched with live video and the various ways it improves the virtual production workflow for both production and post-production.
It was truly a remarkable event: we met loads of talented people and talked about the new & exciting ways that these technologies are helping us do what we love to do. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
Exhibitions Cinec 2010
Every two years in September, the big talents of the film technique community converge in Munich to check out the industry's latest developments at cinec. This year, we demo-ed our new Gyro Stabilized Lambda – an optional add-on to our motion control & remote head that is designed for 3D filming, camera cars and telescopic cranes to maintain true image stability. Mounted on a 17 ft MovieBird and hooked up to an Arri 435, the Gyro Stabilized Lambda generated a great deal of interest amongst filmmakers from around the world. In fact, after cinec the head went straight to Sweden where it was used on a boat shoot for David Fincher’s highly anticipated remake of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”.
Chameleon was our other main attraction, which received a nomination for this year’s prestigious cinec award. The real-time previsualization tool simplifies green/blue screen workflow substantially and, at the same time, provides filmmakers with much more creative control on-set. It even captures all of the necessary motion tracking metadata for post.
Thanks to everyone who visited our stand and hope to see you soon!
Exhibitions Cine Gear 2010
This year’s Cine Gear was a tremendous success for us at Mo-Sys. Our booth showcased our new Gyro Stabilized Remote Lambda and our handheld camera & dolly tracking tool, Motion Logger. Mounted on a 17ft MovieBird provided by our friends at Telescopic Camera Cranes, our new Gyro Stabilized Remote Lambda head raised serious eyebrows with its ability to stabilize images at 100mm.
Similarly, the Motion Logger illustrated how easy it is to capture and record camera and dolly tracking data for post production using a handheld tablet.
Thanks to everyone who visited our booth – until next year!
Exhibitions IBC 2009
A big thank you to everyone who came to see us at IBC. This year's event was probably one of our most successful. For those of you who didn't make it, we demoed our new gyro stabilised head, which created a lot of interest, primarily with the 3D camera rig companies. They saw the Lambda as one of the strongest heads on the market today, able to carry their large camera packages. Another success was the ViaRail system for virtual sets. Creating a lot interest, this high precision tracking system with 2-axis head, the e-Rem 15, was demoed extensively. We've since sent out many quotes to all corners of globe, just highlighting its popularity. Finally, 3D Inserter and Motion Logger – created a lot of interest from VR studios, post-production companies, and motion control operators alike. They saw how green/blue screen filming can be sped up with increased efficiency and all the guess work taken out. Once again, thanks for coming to our stand. We hope to see you again soon!
Exhibitions NAB 2009
Thank you to everyone who came to see us at NAB 2009, where we exhibited on the Cartoni stand. We demoed 3D Virtual Inserter, our previsualisation and camera motion capture system, Motion Logger, a camera motion capture system and the REM 15, operated via a pan bar system.
The show was highly successful, making a lot of new contacts and our thanks to Cartoni for letting us share their stand.
